Achievements

Department of Agricultural Extension is a special program. From the time of birth, the organization has been providing services to the people. This organization has many achievements in the continuation of providing services. Dinajpur district contributed greatly to the production of food grains. Egala almost meets its needs and exports about 8 lakh tons of food grains to other districts of the country.

1. The cultivation of thin and fragrant paddy also increased production.

2. Bhutta cultivation and production increased.

3. Growth of potato cultivation and production.

4. Amalichur cultivation also increased production.

5. Plantation and production growth of leafy vegetables.

6. Hybrid and uficious varieties of all crops and increase in production.

7. Expansion of maize cultivation in mustard and litchi crops.

8. Expansion of Szina cultivation.
